Carrie Miranda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families in a multitude of settings including hospital and community crisis centers, adolescent residential facilities, and intensive in-home services for children and families. Carrie specializes in working with older adolescents and adults with depression and mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, addiction, domestic violence, adjustment disorders, self-injurious behaviors, and crisis situations. She has several years of experience working with children and families involved with DCF and Foster care/adoption as well as court related issues.
Carrie utilizes a strengths based approach, helping to enhance self-esteem and empower individuals to reach their full potential. She strives to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. She makes use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Interventions.
