DaJavon Davis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over five years of experience working with a variety of age groups from diverse environments. He has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples in various settings including outpatient, residential treatment facilities and in-home services. DaJavon strongly believes that therapy is a way to help people explore and develop new ways to experience life. DaJavon is client focused and believes in working collaboratively with clients.
DaJavon specializes in the assessment and treatment of Anxiety, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, ADHD, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Learning issues, LGBT issues, Couple/Marital Issues, and Family Conflict. He is trained in an array of treatment models including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Prolonged Exposure, Motivational Interviewing, Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, Bowen Family Therapy and Emotion Focused Family Therapy. DaJavon has experience facilitating groups to provide individuals with increased communication skills that allow for clients to relate with other individuals in innovative and special ways.
