Elizabeth Golden is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with many years of experience helping others find effective tools to manage life’s difficulties. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space in which those struggling with a variety of life’s challenges can begin to take the necessary steps toward developing change with a lasting sense of well-being. She has extensive clinical experience working with children and adolescents, individuals, women, couples and families. She uses an eclectic approach with a family systems perspective in assessment and treatment. Her style is warm, compassionate and interactive. She believes learning practical, effective skills are most valuable in therapy to achieve desired goals.
Areas that Elizabeth has effectively worked with but is not limited to include: anxiety, depression, anger issues, bipolar, substance abuse problems, relationship difficulties, trauma, premarital challenges, family conflict, parenting issues, career issues and life transitions. She has also complete coursework in PTSD training.
Elizabeth is a veteran and works with military members, veterans and their families. As a veteran and clinician, she has a unique history and perspective which enables her to be able to understand, relate to and meet the client’s needs and to help them reach their desired goals.
