Joyce Armstrong is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience. She has worked with young adults and adults in managing transitions, loss and grief, depression, as well as with individuals with substance use disorders.  She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient, intensive outpatient and crisis intervention.

Joyce’s approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgmental, providing a safe space for individuals to explore feelings, thoughts and emotions.  She offers a strengths-based, trauma-informed, collaborative approach.  The ability to understand how past experiences impact the present can allow individuals to shift limiting beliefs, build a stronger connection to self and open pathways for healing.

It all depends on how we look at things, and not on how things are in themselves. The least of things with a meaning is worth more in life than the greatest of things without it.  Carl Jung
