Rebecca Rotondo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual, couples, family and group therapy in a warm, non-judgemental style. She is experienced in helping adolescents and adults navigate identity issues, difficult life changes, relational and environmental stressors, trauma and co-occurring mental illness. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based interventions each tailored to the unique developmental and emotional needs of every client. Rebecca is particularly experienced in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for coping with Borderline Personality, mood disorders, trauma and substance use. She specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ population and their families.
Rebecca is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS), certified in the five-point NADA protocol. Auricular acupuncture is perfect for clients interested in non-medicinal healing. Acudetox is provided as a complementary treatment to traditional psychotherapy, psychiatry and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) without adverse interactions. Rebecca also likes to incorporate a holistic approach to counseling, honoring the interconnectedness of the mind, body and soul. Interventions include relaxation techniques, mindfulness meditation, yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping), art and sound healing, and fostering our connection with nature, one another and with Spirit.
