Amanda Lavorgna, LMFT

Amanda is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has experience working with emerging adults using a multi-systemic therapy in an intensive in-home setting, and outpatient therapy. She obtained her BA in Sociology at Keene State College and her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Central Connecticut State University where she was a member of the International Marriage and Family Honor Society.

Amanda specializes in working with the young adult population, LGBTQIA+ community, eating disorder population , and those who are transitioning into a new stage of life. She utilizes Motivational Interviewing and strength- based models to guide clients to feel more empowered and process situations on their own. Amanda is a certified facilitator in WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) which she utilizes in her treatment.

Amanda’s style of therapy is relaxed, flexible, and non-judgmental. She provides a safe therapeutic environment where you will feel challenged and heard.
