Amy Giller, LPC

Amy Giller is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy for adults and adolescents struggling with mental health challenges, behavioral issues, and addiction. Amy received her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Central Connecticut State University and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family therapy from Cambridge College.

Amy specializes in working with women who are balancing caring for their families and embarking on their own healing journey. Amy’s approach helps women integrate self-care in their busy lives through learning to prioritize themselves and set healthy boundaries, resulting in her clients being the fullest form of themselves.

Amy incorporates strength-based models to create a positive and therapeutic environment, providing a safe, non-judgmental, validating, and compassionate atmosphere. In addition, Amy can help you examine thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors to understand better what is or is not working and work towards developing healthier habits, coping skills, and a positive self-image. Amy’s therapeutic style includes several treatment modalities, including person-centered, CBT, and DBT.
