Blake Reuter is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been working in the counseling field for over 8 years providing individual, group, and family therapy in multiple settings including Outpatient Programs, Residential Treatment, School-Based, and in court-based settings. He has significant clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, children, families and couples. Blake effectively treats clients who present with mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, family of origin and relationship distress, chronic medical problems, adjustment disorders and clients who are involved in the criminal justice system. Blake has expertise in treating clients and families who have been affected by Opioid Use Disorders and was a leader in developing and implementing community-based substance abuse treatment programs. He has extensive training and experience implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), DBT (DBT) and Reality Therapy.

Blake is known for his compassion, kindness, and patience. He believes in providing treatment services that are strengths-based and collaborative in nature. His ability to practice empathy and active listening skills allow his clients to feel supported and validated. Blake establishes a warm and accepting environment that allows for client growth and positive change. He is also a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) through the UMASS Medical School since 2014, assisting clients who want to stop using nicotine-based products. Blake is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
