Christina Kalogeris, LCSW

Christina is a bilingual (Greek-English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with adults. Christina obtained her Bachelor’s degree in social work from Southern Connecticut State University and her Master’s degree in social work from New York University. Christina has experience working in residential, substance use and behavioral health outpatient centers. 

Christina specializes in working with adults in individual therapy who are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, adjusting to life changes, substance abuse as well as relationship problems. Christina’s clinical approach is client-centered, strengths-based, goal-oriented, and solution-focused. Christina utilizes modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and mindfulness-based interventions that are specific to the needs of each individual client she works with. Christina’s passion is helping individuals identify their own strengths and be able to utilize them in order to overcome challenges. 

Christina strives to offer a safe, warm, nonjudgmental, open-minded space that provides room for clients to express themselves and work on the issues they would like to address and change. She believes that everyone deserves to be happy and find their own passion and fulfillment, individually and collectively.
