Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Tim received his Master’s in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. Tim’s background is working with children, teens, parents and families in numerous settings in community mental health. He uses a client-centered approach and focuses on developing a meaningful therapeutic relationship with individuals to support them in achieving their goals.
Tim is eclectic in his approach, utilizing CBT and DBT skills-based treatment modalities as well as integrating psychodynamic concepts to help individuals gain insight about how previous life experiences have shaped their understanding of themselves and the world.
Tim has experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, work related stress, parenting issues, teen issues and relationship/marriage issues. He enjoys working with teenage boys and young men around developing a healthy sense of self and relationship with masculinity.
