CaRissa Perez, LMFT is a bilingual English/Spanish Marriage and Family therapist. CaRissa is experienced with telehealth services, individual therapy and family therapy. She has been working with various age groups (children, adolescents, college students and adults) to improve their overall mental health and utilize their inner strength. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD, anger management, self-esteem, family therapy, LGBTQIA+ communities, and stress reduction.
CaRissa engages and utilizes psychotherapy, Cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma or Conduct problems (MATCH) and other modalities to help build strength-based coping skills and improve the individuals’ mental health and quality of life.
As a therapist, CaRissa provides a safe, welcoming, nurturing and non-judgmental environment to build a comfortable and confident relationship with clients to best guide clients on their journey to self-improvement.
