Tides of Mind Counseling is a leading provider of mental health and counseling service in our convenient location on West Street in Southington, Connecticut. The Southington office can be described as serene, and spacious. With exposed brick and ocean tones throughout, this office was created with our clients in mind. Each office has been created to ensure confidentiality, provide comfort, and to foster a sense of peace to our clients while they engage in processing their experiences and improving their lives.

Our Southington clinical team is made up of a diverse group of licensed clinicians who specialize in a variety of techniques and populations. Our clinical team treats clients ages 5 to 85 years old and offers individual, couples and family therapy in our office and via telehealth. Our clinical expertise includes Art therapy, trauma informed care, substance use recovery, strengthen based approaches, multi systems therapy, CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing.

The Southington office is also home to our wonderful administrative staff who work day in and day out to connect our clients with services at Tides, and to process medication management, billing and insurance inquiries so our clients and clinician can focus on the therapy.

With treatments that range from individual and group counseling to therapy designed for children and teens to family and couples’ therapy, we can help you or your loved one overcome life’s struggles and live a life free of depression and anxiety. On January 23rd, our current electronic health system will transition to a new and advanced system to better serve you: Athena. Prior to the transition date, you will be sent a registration link to create a new patient account in Athena.
