Cathleen Nowak, LCSW

Cathleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works to build a supportive environment for children, adolescents, and young adults to address symptoms related to behavioral and mental health. Cathleen received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication through University of Connecticut. She went on to explore her passion of helping others, obtaining a Master’s of Social Work degree through Quinnipiac University.  Cathleen continues to be dedicated to the social work field and strives to provide a high quality of care for all clients and their families. 

 Cathleen works to engage those she serves through a gentle, direct, and supportive approach. She focuses her attention on providing a safe environment for clients to explore their emotions, promote autonomy, and practice effective communication. Cathleen centers herself around helping each individual understand their highest capabilities, building supportive environments, and promoting healthy boundaries. She believes that healthy relationships with one’s self, others, and environments can support the healing process. 

 In her free time, Cathleen enjoys traveling, baking, crocheting, exercise, and binge watching the newest TV shows. Cathleen also enjoys spending her time with her friends, family, and pet dogs.
