Dazjavia (Dee) graduated from Southern Connecticut State University where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dee is an Army Reservist that has experience in military trauma, family dynamics, resiliency and wants to continue to educate and work with this population.
Dee also has training working with adolescents and adults that have mental and behavioral health needs. She has worked with adolescents to help them overcome barriers such as abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, family problems, social and economic constraints, and bullying. Dee has facilitated groups focused on Multi-functional therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy. Dee understands social and economical challenges that may hinder a person’s development and ability to function effectively and strives to support those who are going through those challenges.
