Desiree Emirzian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience working with children and families with complex trauma. She has worked with individuals and families with various mental health challenges in foster care and adoption, schools, and intensive in-home programs. Desiree has addressed topics such as anxiety, depression, postpartum challenges, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and addiction. She also enjoys early childhood work and is trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy.  She has a warm, calm, open approach that allows for a trusting relationship to be developed. She believes the energy shared between a client and clinician sets the tone for successful outcomes. Her hope is to be able to provide you with a sense of safety that allows for a deeper sense of trust and healing.
