Victoria “Tori” Daniw, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Tori is a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing warm, compassionate support to individuals and families. With extensive experience in both outpatient and educational settings, she has a strong foundation in helping clients navigate their unique challenges.
Tori earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a concentration in Mental Health, from Southern Connecticut State University, and continued her journey with a Master’s in Counselor Education from Fairfield University where she also obtained her certifications in school counseling and counseling licensure.
Tori specializes in supporting those facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, executive functioning difficulties, life transitions, and parenting concerns. She has a particular passion for helping women who need help in managing life’s stressors and learning how to prioritize self-care, as well as guiding children and adolescents through the pressures attributed to school, anxiety, learning difficulties and perfectionism.
Using a client-centered approach, Tori tailors her therapeutic techniques to fit the needs of each individual. She is trained in ARC and TF-CBT, and she often incorporates creative methods like art, music, pop culture, and even tarot to help clients express themselves in meaningful ways that promote growth.
Tori is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where clients can feel safe to share their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. She believes in a collaborative journey, working together with clients to overcome obstacles and foster a sense of inner peace.
When she’s not in session, Tori loves to travel, attend punk rock shows, explore local coffee shops, and spend time with friends, family and her dog Shiba.
