Amanda Sperandio is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has a passion for examining life’s challenges through a systemic perspective. This means she looks at the impact of society, family, and support systems on an individual, not just the individual in isolation. Amanda specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, and women’s issues- including fertility challenges, health and hormone related challenges, and medical concerns that can be addressed utilizing a holistic approach.
Amanda enjoys helping people who may be struggling with life’s transitions, coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or substance abuse to achieve their goals using a variety of treatment modalities. Amanda has a special interest in working with individuals who are struggling to manage relationships with challenging family members, partners, or friends.
She also enjoys exploring overall wellness, including the benefits of maintaining a healthy body through exercise and proper nutrition, which can have a major impact on mental health. Amanda uses a person-centered approach to provide a warm, supportive, judgment-free environment to allow for open exploration of one’s goals and to help identify ways to for one to function at an optimal level.
