Hallie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist in both Connecticut and Texas, with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Bachelor of science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University and Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston University.

Hallie is certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is trained in other evidence-based treatments, including Dialectical- Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), PC-CARE, and Problematic Sexualized Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT). She works through an eclectic framework, combining modalities to allow clients to process their experiences based on their unique needs.

Hallie specializes in treating childhood trauma and has a background in working with children, teens, and adults who have been the victims of abuse and neglect. Through her years of working with individuals of various developmental stages, she understands the effects of childhood trauma on later adult functioning. Hallie believes that clients know themselves and their needs best, thus working with clients to meet their own goals is always the aim of therapy.
