Jacqueline previously managed an intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program as well as a federally funded mentoring program for adolescents. She currently manages a DCF funded evidenced based outpatient substance abuse treatment program for adolescents. She utilizes a combination of clinic and community based services depending on the unique needs of the adolescents and their families. Jacqueline utilizes a strengths-based approach and is skilled in therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Motivation Enhancement Therapy and Stages of Change Model. She believes in forming a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients from the very first time they meet. Jacqueline is multi-culturally sensitive and very passionate about impacting positive change in the lives of the people with whom she works.
