Katie Tsitaridis is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in outpatient and collegiate settings. She is licensed in both the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island. Katie works with a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, interpersonal issues, substance use, and work-life balance concerns. She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Katie also holds a Certification as a Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, which enables her to help clients develop and apply mental skills to optimize performance, enjoyment, and/or personal development in sport or other domains (e.g., performing arts, military). Katie’s approaches are person-centered, strengths-based, and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy methods. Katie also uses Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed, and culturally-competent interventions.
Katie is an energetic clinician who believes that enthusiasm and authenticity significantly contribute to the therapeutic experience. Katie aims to help every individual recognize their worth and challenge them to achieve holistic health and wellness.
