Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in outpatient and collegiate settings. She is licensed in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Katie works with a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, disordered eating and exercising, interpersonal issues, dissociation, sport performance, and work-life balance concerns. She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Katie also holds a Certification as a Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, which enables her to help clients develop and apply mental skills to optimize performance, enjoyment, and/or personal development in sport or other domains (e.g., performing arts, military). Katie’s approaches are person-centered, strengths-based, and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness methods. Katie is trained in Internal Family Systems Levels 1 and 2, has EMDR training, and provides culturally-competent support.
Katie is an energetic clinician who believes that enthusiasm and authenticity significantly contribute to the therapeutic experience. Katie aims to help every individual recognize their worth and challenge them to achieve holistic health and wellness.
